

En inglés no existe el signo de interrogación al principio de una pregunta, por lo tanto, cuando se trata de una pregunta abierta, utilizamos una palabra para introducir la pregunta. A continuación verás una lista de éstas palabras y sus significados:

| WHAT TIME | (A) QUÉ HORA | What time is your flight? It’s at 2:30. |
| HOW MANY | CUÁNTOS | How many eggs do you need? I need 5 eggs. |
| HOW MUCH | CUÁNTO | How much milk is there? There is plenty of milk. |
| HOW LONG | CUÁNTO TIEMPO CÓMO DE LARGO | How long does it take to get to Bristol? It takes about 30 minutes. |
HOW FAR | A QUÉ DISTANCIA | How far is Bristol? It’s about 20 km. |
